Cambria is an historic and sophisticated village on the coast of California midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Here you will delight in the exceptional galleries, fine restaurants and quaint shops. The lasting natural beauty of Cambria, where the ocean meets the pines, will keep you and your family coming back for a lifetime. San Simeon is the home of Hearst Castle, that is a must-see for every visitor. The castle is open daily, except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's day. Be sure to check out the beach and pier at old San Simeon across from the entrance to the castle, this beach has a natural cove and is a safe place for the family to enjoy the water. You won't want to miss seeing the Elephant Seals at the viewing area 1 mile south of Piedras Blancas Lighthouse. |

Morro Bay is home to one of California's few remaining fishing fleets. This resort town is dominated by Morro Rock, the seventh in a chain of volcanic peaks called the "Seven Sisters" that follows alongside Highway 1 for twelve miles north of San Luis Obispo. This area is a must for nature lovers. You might want to enjoy the bay and it's abundant wildlife in a kayak, or take a boat tour. Morro Bay's bustling wharf is great for a stroll while enjoying the many colorful shops, and delightful fresh seafood restaurants. Golfers will love the many breathtaking courses available to the public. Cayucos is an picturesque small town featuring a thriving Main Street that offers great choices when it comes to dining and shopping. Cayucos' waves are a favorite of local surfers and the beach is perfect for a long, leisurely sunset stroll. |

Pismo Beach is a nostalgic California beach town that attracts people from all over the world. Sunbathe in the perfect weather while watching the surfers, or take a stroll along the 1,200 ft. pier. Downtown is a perfect place to get a bite to eat or browse through the many interesting shops. There are many activities in the area - Dune exploring, golfing, four wheel ATV riding, horseback riding, surfing and fishing. Pismo Beach is the focal point in a stretch of several lovely beach towns. Be sure to check out Shell Beach, Avila Beach, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Oceano and Nipomo. |

Paso Robles An award-winning downtown, Paso
Robles is centered around a quaint city park. Within a two block
radius, visitors will find sophisticated and contemporary gourmet
cheese shops, wine tasting and unique shopping opportunities. The
lively retail district is filled with historic architecture and
nearly every weekend there are community events taking place in this
thriving downtown park. Tasting premium wines in the tranquil
surroundings of the vineyards and tasting rooms found in Paso Robles
wine country is an experience not to be missed. Be sure to take a
picnic lunch with you as most wineries have beautiful grounds and
that perfect spot for eating outdoors. After a day of shopping, wine
tasting, exploring or just relaxing, you might want to check out
some of the spas in the area. Pamper yourself with a massage or
enjoy the hot mineral springs this area is known for. |
